1. Drolma  Restaurant

The restaurant was opened in 1999. It is located in the Hotel Majestic on the prestige Passeig de Gracia. The chief chef is Fermí Puig who is one of Barcelona’s most well known chefs.

It serves international food. According to the Restaurant webpage, the chef, Fermín Puig, proposes an extremely tasty cuisine, with an impeccable technique and presented in a high level service within a fare correspondence of the framework that surrounds it.

2. Gaig Restaurant

The restaurant was founded in 1869 as a family restaurant by the great-grandmother of  today’s owner and chef Carlos Gaig. He represents the fourth generation of chefs in the family.

The place offers modern Catalan dishes.

3. Jaume de Provença

The place opened in 1980. It is renowned in Barcelona for its creative cuisine. It produces modern version of traditional Catalan dishes but you can enjoy delicious southern French recipes as well.

The chef places emphases on using high quality seasonal products. It carries a large selection of vines (more than 300 labels, mainly Spanish and French).

4. La Dama

La Dama is one of Barcelona’s Michelin star restaurants. And it is very well deserved. The chief chef, Josep Bullich, bases his recipes on French cuisine but uses true Catalan materials.

5. Moo Restaurant

Moo is another Michelin star restaurant in Barcelona. It is run by the Roca brothers that is a guarantee for fine dining on its own right. The brothers other restauratn in Girona earned 2 Michelin stars.

Moo is located in Hotel Omm. The chef, Flip LLufriu, created a fine twist in Catalan cooking.
