- The Amsterdam Concert Hall (Concertgebouw) is one of the world's most prestigious and acoustically perfect concert halls
- It was built in 1888 in Neo-Dutch Renaissance style with a grand colonnaded Neo-Classical façade
- It is home to the world renowned Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra
- The creme de la creme of international musicians and conductors regularly perform here
- The building has two halls: a main hall and the smaller recital hall; both of which host daily performances
- The hall was reconstructed and enlarged in 1980 after it was discovered to be in danger of collapse
- Audrey Hepburn held a season ticket to Concertgebouw while she lived in Amsterdam after World War II
