- The Musée de l'Orangerie is an art gallery of impressionist and post-impressionist paintings
- Monet's water-lily series is showcased in the museum
- The other highlight of the museum is the The Walter-Guillaume collection (named after two art collectors)
- The collection includes paintings form Cézanne, Renoir, Picasso, Rousseau, Matisse, Derain, Modigliani, Soutine, Utrillo and Laurencin

- Start your visit on the ground floor where you can enjoy the collection of impressionist paintings by various artists
- Continue the tour at the top floor that presents Monet's 'Water Lilies' series in two oval rooms
